It’s only with the heart that one can see clearly…

Sick at home with the flu and after a day or two I grow very bored. Reading and binge watching various books and downloaded tv shows/netflix, I want to be at my studio working with my hands! :/

So I’ve been taking part in the Toronto Etsy Street Team’s #webetest Instagram challenge. The gif above is from a costume I am currently constructing, along with a ton of other projects. Model: Amanda Martin  Looks like this particular costume will ‘unveil’ itself during the closing party fashion show at GAS 2016 taking place at the Corning Museum of Glass. All glass, all the time! 🙂

This beautiful video was shared today via the foxes at Melrakkasetur. Watch the trailer and then rent or purchase the movie (only a couple bucks!) it is so beautiful. Get a glimpse into life as an arctic fox in Hornstrandir.

Watching the little foxes made me think of the fox in the Little Prince, and what it means to tame something/someone. Here’s the long version

It’s only with the heart that one can see clearly. What’s essential is invisible to the eye.

Thanks for stopping by! Please let me know if you have any trouble posting a comment. WP tells me everything is working, but some friends haven’t been able to comment- and I love your comments 🙂

  1. Sorry to hear you are under the weather. Art will cure you! Even if you’re not doing it yourself, just looking at art revives. Healing to you.
